Child Safety Standards

Animal Farm strictly prohibits child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE). We have zero tolerance for it. These standards apply to every member of Animal Farm in every country, and they are part of our Terms of Service.

What is prohibited

• Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) — sharing, requesting, selling or linking to it.
• Sexualizing anyone under 18, including sexual messages, sexual role-play or requests for sexual images.
• Grooming — befriending or pressuring a minor in order to sexually exploit them, including asking a minor to meet in person, to move to another app or to keep the conversation secret.
• Sextortion — threatening to share, or demanding, sexual images of a minor.
• Trafficking or any commercial sexual exploitation of children.
• Lying about your age to reach minors.

How Animal Farm protects minors

• Members must meet the minimum age for their country (13 or older) and give their birth year and month when they sign up.
• Members under 18 only meet members under 18, and members 18 or older only meet members 18 or older. The two groups do not see each other on the map either.
• Nobody sees another member’s exact location. For members under 18 the position shown to others is 500–1,000 m away.
• We don’t keep real names, email addresses or phone numbers — from Apple or Google sign-in we keep only an account ID — and chats are text only.

How to report

• In the app: in any chat, tap Report and choose “Sexual content” or “Looks under 18”. The member is blocked for you right away.
• Outside the app: email support@seoulcomix.com with the subject “Child safety”.
• We review reports promptly and treat child safety reports as our highest priority.

What we do

• We remove CSAE content and permanently ban the accounts involved.
• We preserve the relevant information and report child sexual abuse material and child exploitation to the authorities, such as the Korean National Police Agency and the U.S. National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC), as applicable law requires.
• We cooperate with lawful requests from law enforcement.
• We comply with the child safety laws of the countries where Animal Farm is available, including Korea’s Act on the Protection of Children and Youth against Sex Offenses.
